LaPrade's Marina is located 2 miles south of Moccasin Creek State Park and the Lake Burton Fish Hatchery

Directions to LaPrades Marina on Lake Burton From I-285/I-85

From 285, go East to 85 North. Go North to 985 North, which turns into Highway 365. Go North to Cornelia/Demorest Exit. Turn Left off the exit and follow signs to Clarkesville. Go through town of Clarkesville and turn Left on Highway197 North. You will come to a fork at the Batesville General Store (directly in front of you,) and stay to the right continuing on Highway 197. Follow road for about 7 miles until you see the Giant Round Log Timber Frame Structure of LaPrades Marina on the right!!! This will be the first place you see beautiful Lake Burton.

Direction to LaPrades Marina on Lake Burton from Georgia 400

From Atlanta, take 400 North until it ends at the John B. Jones intersection. Cross over the intersection on to Long Branch Road (Waffle House across the intersection on the left). Go straight on Long Branch Road until the stop light (5 miles), and then turn right (after your right turn there is a BP Gas Station on your right). Follow Hwy. 115 13.3 miles into downtown Cleveland, Georgia, and turn left at traffic signal (North Hwy. 129). Go past the Dairy Queen on your left, and turn right at the traffic signal (1/2 mile) at the Gateway Inn onto Route 75, Ingle’s will be on your left after the turn.

Follow the road (7.1 miles) and turn right at the Indian Mound which is Hwy. 17 South. Follow this 2.4 miles to Hwy. 255 TURN LEFT at the Sautee Store. (It's easy to miss the store on the left, so look carefully.)

Follow this winding road 8.1 miles until you approach the Batesville Store and bear left at the stop sign, which puts you on Hwy. 197. Follow Hwy. 197 approximately five (5) miles and LaPrades will be the first place you see on the lake. Look for the logs!
